The MUT studio was founded by Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón in 2010 as a multidisciplinary team based on the principle of emotive design. With large doses of experimentation and a lot of imagination, they aim to redefine everyday objects. This unique quality and fresh approach to daily life unify each of their projects, making this creative studio a constantly evolving design icon. Their award-winning products are regularly featured in top global magazines, and they are currently among the most popular and respected designers of their generation. Additionally, they were invited as guest of honor at the international Cologne fair in 2020 to create the prestigious “Das Haus” project for that year. The studio’s various proposals also surprised at the Satellite Hall, the International Furniture Fair in Milan, 100% Design in London, and Cersaie, among other competitions. The studio has been honored multiple times, such as being recognized as part of “The New Wave” of Spanish design by the international magazine Wallpaper and winning the Red Dot Award for best product design, among other awards.
